Got a set of these mega gnarly Curtis Odom track hubs for sale. While they are brand new never used or mounted and include a 17T CO cog, there is a catch: The lockring threads weren't machined the right size for some reason. I have no idea why. These kinda dropped in my lap and while I'd love to build em up, I could use the money. You can have a custom machined lockring made or what I was thinking of doing was just tossing a freewheel on there and calling it a day. Things are BEAUTIFUL and normally cost $500+. I'm not really sure what to price these at so I'll say $275 for now since they're brand spankin' new!!
If you're interested holler at me: email@example.com subject line: CURTIS ODOM

Selling off the last of my DA10 stuffs so be sure to get on it since there's no more left after this:
Along with some other non DA10 stuffs:
Aside from that I should have the MAX style forks done real soon. Here's some progress shots:
I'm making a fork for a new frame I'm also working on. Can you guess which one?
Got two done and have 4 more to gizzo. Here's a couple of semi-finished product shots from the first one I built:
I rode that fork all this past summer and it was great. Held up to my 200lb fat ass and NYC city streets like a champ. While they are similar to the Bareknukle for these have the extra nice lug detail around the drop out that matches the crown. Real classy in other words..
Since it appears you can't really buy a Bare Knuckle fork separately, you're next best option is buy one of these off a me :-) I'll be selling them for $180 unpainted. If you want paint, you can deal with that yourself but I am looking into chroming options so I'll put that out there once I have an update. Included options are drilled or not drilled. If you want rack/fender mounts just let me know..
Be sure to holler if you're interested at firstname.lastname@example.org
Hopefully I'll have some other stuffs done soon as well but these are it for now..

Got the Max style fork kits in:
Gonna git awn dat shit nxt week!
Kits were on sale for $80 bucks each so I'm figuring $180 a pop built up. Gonna look into chroming prices but that'll just be an add on option. Drilled or non drilled is included. The kits are back up to $100 now so the price will go up to $200 once these are all sold..
Posted some fun stuff on ebay today:
The Zinn 24" wheel adapter fork I bought on ebay a while back:
Fucking thing is so rad! Allows you to convert any 700c bike into a funny bike type thing without changing the geometry. It's the type of thing I stumbled upon and just had to have for some reason. I didn't even use it either, lol! Just thought it was too cool to pass up..
Speaking of things I couldn't pass up, how could I say no to this BRAND NEW IN BOX circa 1981 Entex Electronic Bicycle Computer:
Man, thing is SO COOL! Hilariously awesome as it require not 1, not 2, not even 3, but SIX DOUBLE A BATTERIES, LOL!! Love it. Totally works perfectly too. Just another odd thing I came across a while back..
Then there's a bunch of other camera and photography stuffs. Def check out my ebay seller list when you get a chance. I'll be posting some more stuff next week..
Other than that I've just been working a lot the last couple of months so I haven't had much time to work on shizz in the shop. Fucking ebay auctions for all those bikes I sold recently slayed me too. Next week is looking pretty mellow so I'm looking forward to having some time to myself then..

Just ordered FIVE of these rad MAX style fork kits from Nova that were on sale for $80 bucks each. They come with everything you need and all fits together pretty damn well. Here's an almost finished one I made a while back:
Only took me a couple of hours to go from the box to the flux water bath which is pretty fucking awesome! Stoked to build those sexy bastards up soon :-)
Also, I hope all 3 or 4 of you shitheads who still check out my dusty old blog have a carrot waxing good time this new years eve!

So I'm lounging in my bed last night when all of a sudden I hear two massive explosions and my windows vibrating. I look out the window and from behind the houses I can see that the sky is bright orange and smoke is bellowing like a mother fucker. I immediately run outside and down the street two blocks away where I see this big housing complex construction site is going up in flames:
Here's the a few videos I shot as well:
It was pretty fucking gnarly. SUPER bummed that I broke my camera the other week and it's still at the repair shop. All I got is lame ass iPhone footage. Having said that, ABC, NBC, CBS, WPIX, NJ12 and somebody else all requested video and photos. So if you were watching the news last night you might have seen it. If not, here's some screen grabs:
..and my personal fav:
When I saw that I immediately belting out the screechiest falsetto:
\m/ FIRE AND AAAHHHHIIIIICCCEEE!!! \m/
I mean, as if the flames weren't amazing enough, seeing my name broadcast across all the major networks shrouded by fire WAS THE RADDEST MOTHER FUCKING THING EVER!!!
So yeah, I had a pretty great narcissisticly indulgent night, lol..
In bike related news, I started working on a new mini tall as it's about fucking time already. Main thing I needed to help kick the project off is a set of custom dropouts. I didn't have any appropriately sized scrap metal to make custom drop outs with so I went to Harbor Freight and bought this standard receiver tube for a trailer hitch:
Started with one of my typically crappy loose drawings and went for it:
1: Initial outline, 2: 1st rough cut, 3: Second piece cut out and welded to the first, 4: About 2/3rds of the milling and hand filing done..
I actually got a bunch more done yesterday, including the middle cut out section, but when I was waiting for it to cool down enough to the touch is when the building down the street exploded and ended up spending the rest night emailing back and forth with all the news channels. I'll have em finished and ready for mock up next time I'm in the shop..
